In the Firm’s latest win for New York attorneys and their insurers, CG&P obtained the dismissal of all claims asserted against its client in a legal malpractice action, also alleging negligence and breach of contract claims. The Court determined the continuous representation doctrine could not apply to toll the statute of limitations, and further that documentary evidence established no malpractice claim whatsoever was viable. The case was handled by CG&P Partner Gary Petropoulos and Of Counsel William Schleifer.
