Dom Gallardo is a 1986 graduate of Fordham University and received a Juris Doctorate Degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1989, with Award in Commercial Papers. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, and is a former Assistant District Attorney for Bronx County’s Narcotics Unit. Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office in 1993, Mr. Gallardo has concentrated his practice in the area of insurance liability defense. He has tried and prevailed on appeals in areas including professional liability, nursing home liability, products liability, premises and labor law liability, and employment practices litigation.
Mr. Gallardo is a former charter member of the Board of Directors of Virtual Radiologic Corp., a national teleradiology services provider. He regularly guides clients in their practices through loss prevention seminars with regard to general, corporate and professional liability issues.
Mr. Gallardo is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
