CG&P is pleased to announce that Ralph Catalano has been appointed Dean of the Nassau Academy of Law, the academic arm of the Nassau County Bar Association. Founded in 1899, and with a membership of over 6000 attorneys, judges and legal educators, The Nassau County Bar Association is one of the oldest and largest local bar organizations in the United States. The Nassau Academy of Law serves all members of the bar, bench and general public, and is an accredited provider of continuing legal education in New York State. Mr. Catalano is also past Chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Committee on Professional Ethics, and is a frequent lecturer on legal topics including trial and appellate advocacy, legal ethics and professional liability. As Dean, he will preside over the Academy’s Board of Trustees and will also serve as a Trustee of the Nassau County Bar Association. He takes office on June 4, 2012.
